Little change in the pairing after it was propped up earlier this morning by CBC. Taiex reversed opening gains post MOU with China to close down 0.76% with markets fretting over the lack of details on the much anticipated MOU. Nevertheless, foreigners remained net buyers and TWD 18.644 bln of local stocks were bought this session. Expect equity-related inflows to continue weighing on the pairing though intervention fears are likely to see bears tempered. Upsides capped for now though with the dollar bears returning. JA
