Chic PMI at 54.2 from 46.1 in Sep is well above market estimates at 49.0 and even better than our above mkt 52.0 call. The data has not seen much in terms of a knee jerk reaction in FX with equities having trouble reacting positively to the news, and could be looking instead toward ISM on Mon. SI
