The JPY could stay under pressure ahead of the Bank of Japan's meeting. but watch for "sell on the fact" moves in the aftermath of the bank's monetary policy announcement.

The unbroken surge higher in the usdjpy appears to be running out of steam and with the weekly chart posting a shooting star candle, expect to see the pair pull back in the short term before continuing the longer term bullish momentum. Look for any pullback to test the 89 area before there can be any resumption and move beyond 94 in due course.
