A price correction of the USD gains is long overdue, but it would not be surprising to see the USD supported against the JPY on expectations of more QE and an increase of Bank of Japan's inflation target in January.
It seems that USD/JPY ended its consolidation and is marching on, enjoying fresh action from the Japanese government.
