USDJPY Comments:

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

swing and rise moves are expected

  • ICN.com analysis team:

A break above 80.35 will ease the path towards 81.50 zones followed by 82.25 regions.

  • Ilian Yotov:

It would not be surprising to see the USD supported against the JPY ahead of the Bank of Japan meeting on November 19 on expectations of more QE by the Japanese central bank.

  • Joshua Martinez:

Too sideways on the daily time frame to determine a long-term break out.

  • Tad DeVan:

The USDJPY has been fluctuating around the significant 80 yen level vs the USD over the past few weeks. I anticipate to see this trend continue and ultimately favor the USD in the long term

  • Yohay Elam:

The yen could make some gains on safe haven flows due to the euro-crisis, but it has a competition with the dollar on the safe haven spot.
