USDJPY Comments:

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

swing and rise moves may be seen.

  • ICN.com analysis team:

A break below 76.95 with a daily closing will damage bulls' hope to take the pair above 79.25 initial resistance; noting that 78.75 -SMA 100- is a very hard technical obstacle for bulls.

  • Ilian Yotov:

Should the USD give up it gains against the JPY and head lower into its "intervention zone" between 75 and 78 yen, it would not be surprising to see the Bank of Japan stepping in with another interevention.

  • Yohay Elam:

There is a growing chance of intervention to weaken the yen towards the end of the month, like in 2011.
