year end upward move is expected to be aggressive
Risk aversion, the U.S. "fiscal cliff" and the QE expansion by the Fed in 2013 will keep making it difficult for the USD to find significant strength against the CHF.
The franc continues playing according to the euro's moves. It received some limited breathing space for now

However, as we move into the first quarter of 2013, expect to see this pullback reverse with the pair picking up bearish sentiment once again and moving back to test this area, and a break and hold below this level, will see the USD/CHF extend bearish sentiment further in the longer term.
