GBPUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

Cable is now trying to re-base in the 1.5750 area, following a fundamental driven move lower which saw the pair breach potential support in the 1.58 price zone before ending the week below this region. Any bounce back will require further consolidation at the 1.5750 area & with the 200 weekly moving average now been testing cable is now at a delicate point.

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

prolonged middle level consolidation could lead to aggressive rise in coming days.

  • Ilian Yotov:

Despite of the recent pullback of the GBP, as long as the Bank of England continues to sit on the QE sidelines, the GBP should remain as a viable alternative to other currencies whose central banks go full speed ahead with more easing.
