GBPUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

Cable continues to test the 1.5910 region once again on the daily chart, and any break below this level will see the pair move lower next week, with bullish sentiment for the US dollar adding further bearish momentum. Should this level be breached then expect to see Cable test the platform of strong support in the 1,5770 area, which should hold and send the pair higher in the longer term.

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

middle level swings are expected to take GBP to further high till early next year as higher shift in trading zone

  • ICN.com analysis team:

Trading below 1.6180 should protect bears while taking out 1.60 figure will bring the bearish picture back into focus.

  • Ilian Yotov:

The Bank of England's decision to refrain from more QE should keep the GBP/USD pair strategically positioned to challenge its 2012 high, provided that EU debt crisis and "fiscal cliff" uncertainty does not continue to spook investor sentiment.

  • Joshua Martinez:

GBPUSD daily time frame is too sideways to see the long-term break.

  • Tad DeVan:

The GBPUSD is currently in a large trading rang and is slowly moving bearish. I anticipate this trend to continue overall over the next week, month and quarter

  • Yohay Elam:

Without imminent QE, the pound could float in the same region.
