GBPUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

Cable continues its steady bullish momentum on both the daily and weekly charts with strong buying now appearing in the week. We can expect to see cable push higher on towards 1.65 in due course and even to test the 1.6746 high of late April where we may see cable run into further resistance.

  • Gregor Horvat:

Daily chart is clearly bullish, so intra-day set-backs are considered as temporary pull-backs within ongoing trend headed above 2012 highs.

  • Ilian Yotov:

With the Bank of England willing to deploy more QE as early as their October meeting, the GBP/USD pair should correct some of its recent gains against the greenback.

  • Yohay Elam:

The pound enjoed hopes that Spain would exit the recession. This could keep the bid on the pound.
