GBPUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

Cable continues to surge higher, having broken through the 1.60 level and is now set to breach the 1.6317 area shortly. Once clear of this price point we can expect to see a re-test of the 1.6540 region and beyond in due course.

  • Ilian Yotov:

With QE3 underway and the Bank of England sitting on the sidelines, the GBP/USD pair looks positioned for a test of the 2012 high at $1.63.

  • Joshua Martinez:

GBPUSD is just shy of hitting its resistance level of 1.6200 of the daily timeframe.

  • Yohay Elam:

Mixed signals from the UK mean that the pair will float around these levels, as it receives support from QE3.
