GBPUSD Comments:

  • A. Narczewski:

The BoE is reluctant to cut interest rates, but the cable should follow the EUR/USD

  • Anna Coulling:

Cable now appears to be ready to ready through the resistance at the 1.5752 area and a clear break and hold above this level should see the pair move firmly higher and on towards the 1.60 in the next few weeks.

  • Gavin Grier-Rees:

Quiet and range trading through the summer.

  • ICN.com analysis team:

Momentum indicators are negative suggesting a retest of 1.5390 -1.5360 zones sooner.

  • Ilian Yotov:

The GBP/USD pair is still trend-less and could continue to fluctuate within its range between $1.54 and $1.58.

  • Joshua Martinez:

GBPUSD is in sideways movement on the daily time frame.

  • Westpac Institutional Bank Team:

    UK news less downbeat

  • Yohay Elam:

With quite a few positive UK figures of late, cable might remain stable for now.
