Dollar-Swiss has fallen off the Support at 1.0657 and is now trading below this level for quite some time. Attempts might be made to rise past this, which if successful, could next target 1.0700. Any rise beyond this is not foreseen at the moment. However, the bearish view on the pair continues to hold and the immediate target of 1.0556 could be acheived on a break below 1.0620 where the pair has found some Support.

Our buy order on Cable got executed as the pair dipped towards 1.6183 and then rose towards 1.6430 during the day as we exited out of the trade at 1.6375. The Resistance at 1.6250-80 that we were eyeing did not hold as the pair went on to retrace the 38.2% retracement of the fall from 2.1163 (9 Nov 2007) to 1.3503 (23 Jan 09). It might now consolidate between 1.6233-1.6430 for some time possibly even during the US session before making a surge towards 1.6500-47 where it shall find the 55-week MA and 200-month MA.

The Support at 0.7976 was safe as the pair surged to record a high of 0.8140. The Support region of 0.7950-76 is likely to provide ample Support to the pair to keep it above the 50% retracement of the big fall from 0.9851 (18 Jul 08) to 0.6007 (31 Oct 08) at 0.7950.
