Even as we write, Swiss surges higher towards 1.17 (the level mentioned in the morning). Though this has come in earlier than expected! If the momentum continues, it could go further up towards 1.18 till it continues to take Support at the 8-day MA. An immediate fall could be contained near 1.1405, the low of US session.

The pair has risen 6.7% after seeing a low of 1.3503 over the last week. How much more from here? There's Resistance at 1.48 (8-week MA and trendline Resistance on the daily candles) which should hold over the next 3-4 days. It currently has Support near 1.4063 which is near the Projected Max Low for the day at 1.4042. While this continues to hold, it could continue with the bullishness being seen over the last 5 days. The broad range for the next week would be 1.35-1.48 as can be seen from the channel on the daily candle charts.

We continue to inch towards the target of 0.6300-0.6271 which we had been re-iterating for quite some time now. It has recorded a low of 0.6403. The short covering that we had spokem about in the morning was contained by the 13-MA Resistance on the hourly candles. It continues to look very bearish, with possible Support at 0.6271 initally and thereafter towards 0.6236. However, we believe that Aussie, could finally take Support near 0.63 before it bounces back towards 0.65 or even 0.66. Let's see if the possible RBA announcements would be factored in today itself or over the next few sessions.
