Bill Hubard is Markets.com’s Chief Economist and Head of the Research and Analysis Team. Mr. Hubard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, and is a regular-guest on several major cable-news networks. Giving insight into topical news and events that shape the markets, Mr. Hubard is widely regarded as a key-figure in the industry. Prior to joining Markets.com, Mr. Hubard handled arbitrage/mortgage-backed securities at Morgan Stanley, worked with the New York Federal Reserve to amend regulations and served as John Meriwether’s broker at Salomon Brothers; Mr. Hubard also helped execute the first-ever asset swap (CFD) between Citicorp and Detroit Edison. Mr. Hubard was personally recruited by Mike Bloomberg to setup and run Bloomberg’s in-house training program; he parlayed this position into various TV commentator roles, including Economics Commentator on CNBC-TV (Europe) and as a weekly guest on Bloomberg-TV (London/ Mumbai/ Istanbul). He is also a regular guest on CNN, BBC-1 and the World Service.
