After yesterday's storm, the european opening has been more moderate in volatility but with a medium size run on a clear pattern. In Cable the price made a 123 pattern, followed by a Support trendline broken. After that we had some opportunities to go short till yesterday's main support in 60m.

After peaking at 1.4534 the pair entered a corrective phase
Fwww.deltastock.com − EUR/USD is in a broad consolidation, after bottoming at 1.2331 (Oct.28,2008). Technical indicators are neutral, and trading is situated above the 50− and 200−Day SMA, currently projected at 1.4134 and 1.3523.
After peaking at 1.4534 the pair entered a corrective phase, that is expected to be limited above 1.4444 and a break above 1.4516 will signal, that the next upward leg is on the run, towards 1.4653.
Testing the lower trend line support at 1.6500 by FXstreet.com Independent Analyst Team
We are now testing the lower trend line support at 1.6500. A break here should take us down impulsively to 1.6420 (3) followed by a move down to the previous low at 1.6317 before the potential reversal.

EUR/CAD has been moving in an upward and a horizontal trend channel. After touching the support level around 1.5400 for the third time, the market climbed to the middle Bollinger band and touched the 1.5680 resistance.

Friday Notes - UK, BoE: Repo rate on hold by UniCredit Group
The BoE should keep the repo rate unchanged this month, and introduce no changes to the outstanding APF. The August Inflation Report clearly indicated that market expectations (for a first rate hike in Q1 2010) were too aggressive, given that nominal demand remains very much subdued despite the ongoing QE program.
