Current Session: Europe − U.S.

The pair continues to attack the 1.4350 resistance line

Swiss e Trade AG − The pair continues to attack the 1.4350 resistance line at the start of the week, while retreating a little in the early European hours, and is trading currently at 1.4250. We still see the 1.4350 zone not being surpassed and expect downward correction moves to the zones around 1.4100.

Friday Notes - In June, sales likely pulled back somewhat by UniCredit Group

After plummeting by 75% since mid−2005, sales of new homes apparently found a bottom at the beginning of this year. Since January, they are moving within a narrow range of about 330k to 350k units. In June, sales likely pulled back somewhat as mortgage rates surged at the beginning of the month. We do not think, however, that they will fall below their January low of 329k.
