Looking for Japanese Yen to recover close to 90.00 − Commerzbank
FXstreet.com Independent Analyst Team − After testing three times the 91.80 strong support (July 8, 10 and 11), USD/JPY rose to post 94.45 as 1−week high, thus pair started to falls to levels close to 93.30 yesterday. Currently the pair is trading around 93.74, 0.05% above today's opening price and closing the week with 1.45% gains from 92.43, Monday opening price. Karen Jones, Analyst at Commerzbank, comments the Yen to recover further and test 90.00 support in the following three weeks as pair is trading in a downchannel.
USD Still Caught in the Old See−Saw by Swiss e Trade AG
The pound, usually more volatile than the EUR vs. USD, already lost considerable ground in early European trading and is currently priced at 1.6305 near a short term support zone.

We are still in an up channel at an angle of 25 degrees. The moving averages are mixed and we are definitely not trending. Momentum is flat but above the ascending trend line.

US economic indicators - Housing starts and building permits (Jun): stabilising at very low levels by BHF−Bank
As the graph shows, the development of the NAHB index suggests that housing starts and building permits have bottomed out and could start to recover in the near future. We forecast that housing starts, which rose by 17.1% in May, will have remained stable at about 530k in June, and building permits could have risen to the same level.
