U.S. Dollar Rally Comes To a Halt Today
Swiss e Trade AG − The heavily oversold position of the pair is about to be corrected this European morning, with the market currently trading at 1.3890, after recovering from lows around 1.3750. We see this recovery continuing today, first with some down corrections to the 1.3850 levels, and then rising to 1.3950.
GBP/USD: The pair is in an uptrend, after bottoming at 1.3506 by www.deltastock.com
The pair is in an uptrend, after bottoming at 1.3506. Trading is situated above the 50− and 200−day SMA, currently projected at 1.4778 and 1.5510.

US economic indicators - PPI & CPI (May): upward pressure on energy prices only by BHF−Bank
Despite the global recession, oil prices have been rising markedly since February. They were about 18% mom higher in mid−May, and we thus predict that producer prices will have increased by 0.7% mom in May. However, as oil prices went up even more sharply in the previous year, the yearly rate will probably drop from –3.7% to –4.3%.

US economic indicators - Housing starts (May): NAHB index signals slight improvement by BHF−Bank
Housing starts fell by 12.8% to a new record low of 458k in April. Multi−family starts were again responsible for the plunge, whereas single−family starts have begun to stabilize in the last three months. The weakness in starts in April may have been partly due to bad weather.
