The pair may be headed for a reversal week

ForexRazor − Our inclination yesterday to scalp the market from the short side was correct, and would try the same today, preferring an entry around 1.4240. Global equities are negative this morning responding, to a few recommendations to take profits, and negative economic news. First quarter Euro GDP was down 4.8% following the 2.5% contraction in last years 4th quarter. The pair may be headed for a reversal week.

The Quantitative Easing Trip by Swiss e Trade AG

Cable lost upward momentum yesterday, recovering somewhat in this European morning, to now 1.6400. Still heavily overbought, we do not expect more upside potential for it, rather projecting a downside level of 1.6250 in today's trading hours.

Forex: EUR/USD: Euro attempts to breach 1.4225/45 resistance area by FXstreet.com

The Euro is trying to shrug off its negative momentum and after having bounced at 1.4100 on from its 240 pips sell off on Wednesday, the pair is has launched its first attempt to break above 1.4225/45 resistance area.

The ECB policy board meets on Thursday June 4th. At the May ECB policy meeting the ECB lowered interest rates to a historic low of 1% from 1.25%, announced a plan to buy 60 bln EUR in covered bonds and extended liquidity auctions from six to twelve months. The ECB also lowered its growth and inflation forecasts.
