Daily Trading Forecast − Another resistance, 1.3900, has been successfully broken by Swiss e Trade AG
Another resistance point in the pair, 1.3900, has been successfully broken in early European trading, with the market currently at 1.3950. But this uptrend is so overheated (overbought) now, that downward corrections should be anticipated today, probably to the 1.3850 level.

Sterling was largely unresponsive to this morning's second estimate of Q1 GDP. The estimate remains at −1.9% q/q. Technically, while cable remains above GBP/USD1.5520 it is in an uptrend, but going forward the fundamental picture is less secure.
Forex: USD/JPY: Dollar, fails to break above 94.25 by FXstreet.com
The Dollar has failed on its attempt to break resistance level at 94.25 on its rebound from 2−months low at 93.85, and the pair has returned to levels around 94.20.

Big picture, there are 5 waves up from the 2007 low of .9050. The decline from 1.3068 is the correction (either a b wave of a 2nd wave) of that advance. The first level of potential support is the former 4th wave extreme at 1.1459. Fibonacci support is then at 1.1060 and 1.0590.

The U.K. economy contracted by an unrevised 1.9% in the first quarter of 2009 from the final three months of 2008, and by 4.1% compared with a year earlier, the Office for National Statistics said Friday.
