The EUR/USD is fighting the 1.2760
FXstreet.com −The Euro is trading above the 1.2760 level of the flat trading channel it has been into since yesterday's American session. The Euro attempts to break higher although the pair seems fairly neutral. In addition, the worst than expected consumer, economic and industrial confidences are pressing down the Euro.
Daily Trading Forecast − Cable is consolidating at lower levels by Swiss e Trade AG
After its selloff by as much as 400 pips yesterday, cable is consolidating at lower levels and is currently trading at 1.4260. We see recovery moves to be limited today, not exceeding the 1.4320 level.

Gold is finally finding support from our $951.92/oz support as the precious metal continues to bounce within our uptrend band. The precious metal is still comfortably above our 1st tier uptrend line while the S&P futures are facing considerable resistances.

US economic indicators - Durable goods orders (Jan): sixth decline in a row by BHF−Bank
Durable goods orders fell by 13.5% in the 4th quarter, and are likely to have dropped markedly again in January, by at least 3.0% mom. Transportation orders will have been particularly weak, as indicated by the fact that automobile production plunged by 40% mom. According to Boeing figures, aircraft orders have also fallen again.

German unemployment figures are unlikely to climb as fast as many fear despite the tangible economic slump as entrepreneurs try to keep staff, cutting working hours and salaries rather than making redundancies, the country's labor office said Tuesday.

German GfK March Consumer Sentiment At 2.6 Vs 2.3 In Feb (Dow Jones)
German market research group GfK's forward−looking consumer climate index rose to 2.6 points for March, defying expectations of a decline, Reuters news agency said Thursday. A Dow Jones Newswires survey of 12 analysts expected the index to fall to 2.0 points.
