Daily charts remain quite bearish although the 1.4135 zone has prove to be a strong support. Watch for a break of that level to consider more bearish movements in the medium term. At the moment, market remains in boring tiny conditions, with no clear definitions: the pair is quoting around 1.4235, with supports at 1.4208 zone, followed by 1.4170 and the mentioned zone at 1.4135.

G7 Meeting with Little Impact on Forex
Swiss e Trade AG − The dollar has lost upward steam in Asian trading against the yen and continues to trade sideways in European morning trading, testing the resistance zone between 92.00 and current prices at 91.75. We do not see the 92.00 resistance being broken today significantly. Downmoves from there will be limited to support at 91.50.
Daily Analysis − Sterling falls as CBI says the Economy is set for a severe slump by Finotec Group Inc.
The pound fell after the Confederation of British Industry said the U.K. economy will contract at almost twice the pace previously forecast this year.
Daily Forex News − Pair still trading in a wide bearish channel by ACM − Advanced Currency Markets
Pair still trading in a wide bearish channel but now challanging horizontal support at 1.2706. A break of support will place the focus on 1.2550. Intra day support now stands at 1.2866 (5d MA).

Contrary to the recent bleak hard data, numerous leading indicators around the globe are pointing slightly north at the beginning of the year. This is nurturing the hope that the economy will at least stabilize after mid−year. The ZEW growth expectations now extend into the second half of the year. Despite the strong increase already in January, the level remains well below the long−term average of over +25. For that reason, we also expect a substantial increase in the growth expectations in February.
