The Advisor Blog: Eur/Usd in the short term by Valeria Bednarik
As seen last Friday, the pair remains pretty bearish in 4 hours and daily charts, and remains pushing lower: quoting right now just below 1.3400, 1.3358 will be the first support to consider, followed by 1.3310/25 zone, see today minimum and previous week one around there: if the pair manages to break down 1.3250 will be our target zone for today.

The pair has finalized its consolidation above 90.95 at 97.48
(www.deltastock.com) − The pair has finalized its consolidation above 90.95 at 97.48 and the general downtrend has been renewed, targeting 79.86. Trading is situated below the 50− and 200−day SMA, currently projected at 107.61 and 105.76.
The strong impulse from 94.64 confirms our view, that the rise 87.12−94.64 was corrective in nature, preceding next leg downwards to 86.31 and 83.01. Intraday bias is again negative for 88.43 with a risk limit above 90.62.
Daily Trading Forecast − Euro Takes a Hit, Ugly Economic Data by Swiss e Trade AG
After tending weaker in early European trading hours, the pair is heavily oversold right now, priced at 1.3370. We see rather a recovery now setting in, which could lead up to resistance around 1.3500 during the day.
Weekly Technical Commentary − GBP/JPY: Collapse came to a halt ahead of its 1995 all time low of 128.20 by Mizuho Corporate Bank
The catastrophic collapse last quarter came to a juddering halt ahead of its 1995 all time low of 128.20. It is over two standard deviations from the mean since 1992 and appears to be working in a downward−sloping ‘wedge' formation just like Cable.

US economic indicators - Trade deficit (November): shrinking significantly due to weak domestic demand and falling prices by BHF−Bank
We expect the nominal trade deficit to have narrowed from $57.2bn to $51.5bn in November, and the real trade deficit is also likely to have decreased. But net exports will nevertheless contribute negatively to GDP in Q4, for the first time since Q1/2007.

Australian job ads fall at record pace in Dec (Thomson Financial News)
Australian job advertisements in newspapers and on the Internet slumped at a record pace in December, a survey showed on Monday, adding to concerns unemployment is set to rise sharply this year. The grim report will intensify worries that government figures on the labour market due on Thursday would show a second straight month of job losses, underlining the case for yet further cuts in interest rates.
