Daily Analysis − Sterling gains against the Dollar as stocks rise by Finotec Group Inc.
The pound rose against the dollar on speculation rising stocks are reviving risk appetite, boosting demand for the U.K. currency. The U.K. government will cut taxes for families, the elderly and small businesses and maintain ``high'' public spending by increased borrowing. The GBP/USD is currently trading at $1.5740 as of 8:19am, GMT.
Daily Trading Forecast − Credit Markets Back at Work Again by Swiss e Trade AG
Against the yen, the dollar moved up in all of Asian and early European trading, a move that most probably will end soon today. Currently priced at 99.28, the upmove is about to meet resistance already. Prices above 99.35 could be the trigger for a weaker phase, towards today's support at 98.75.
Daily FX Report − The AUD rose 2.4 percent versus the USD by Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG
The AUD rose 2.4 percent versus the USD to 0.6908 even after RBA cuts GDP growth forecasts. Housing data are weaker than expected, supported by a 1.3 percent gain in AUD/JPY, as Asian shares climbed and encourage investors to return to carry trades.

Both the ifo business expectations and the US ISM manufacturing index have deteriorated.

U.K. factory gate prices declined at a record pace in October, as oil prices continued to fall sharply on concerns that the world economy is sliding into recession, data from the Office for National Statistics showed Monday.
