Current Session: Europe − U.S.

USD/JPY

Daily Trading Forecast − Euro: Like it Was a Hot Potato by Swiss e Trade AG

For today's trading, we expect further calming of the current buying binge in the dollar, but still reckon with downside risk in the GBP and EUR pairs. There, a real upward correction will most probably not set in before further substantial interest rate cuts have become a fact. Note the 15:00 CET data release of U.S. new home sales for September, where an improvement is expected.
Again, the dollar was in a downmove against the yen in Asian trading. Currently trading at 92.41, the downmove seems to be continuing. We expect the testing of the 91.00 level in today's trading.
