Daily Forex News − Forex − Sterling and Euro dropped sharply against Dollar and Yen by ACM − Advanced Currency Markets

Cable dropped to 1.7850 low yesterday, new initial support. Yesterday sharp move broke 1.7936 19th April high. Strong support holds 1.7251 3rd April low. On the upside, initial resistance holds 1.8795 last 2−weeks high. Former support 1.9363 holds also strong resistance. Key level holds 2.0100 resistance.

DATA SNAP: Euro−Zone Jul PPI Hits Fresh High On Energy Costs (Dow Jones)

Euro−zone producer prices hit a fresh annual high in July, pushed up by soaring energy costs. Prices of goods leaving euro−zone factory gates rose 9.0% on the year in July, after rising 8.0% on the year in June, data from European Union statistics agency Eurostat showed Tuesday.
