Daily Forex Technical Report − Dollar Extends Rally on Another Around of Commodity Decline by ActionForex.com

Dollar's rally extends further on the back of another round of decline in commodity prices with spot gold breaking $800 level and crude oil back pressing this week's low of $112.3 level. EUR/USD extends decline to as low as 1.4752 and GBP/USD dives through 1.86 level. Though, Aussie is still holding above this week's low of 0.8591 for the moment, partly supported by the rebound in Kiwi. One thing to note is the mixed outlook in the Japanese yen. USD/JPY is now back pressing 110.40 high while other yen crosses remains pressured, which suggests that there were switching of yen funded carry trades to into dollar based assets and such trend might continue for a while.
