Current Session: Europe − U.S.

EUR/USD

Daily Trading Forecast − A Spanner in the Works for the USD by Swiss e Trade AG

After Trichet's "encouraging" remarks, the EUR / USD shot up to resistance at 1.5618 and is currently trading at 1.5587. Due to the fact that another large resistance zone between 1.5650 and 1.5800 is still looming above the market, we doubt that the Euro will move into higher ground again today. We are waiting for the release of the Non−Farm Payroll numbers at 14:30 CET before considering any new positions.
