Daily FX Report − The USD/JPY edges back towards the low of 103,04 by Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG
Since the middle of March the EUR/JPY is located in an up trend channel. The cross through the resistance at 161,36 gave the EUR an additionally impulse. The temporary trading in the head of the channel could let expect a go on trend.

The Bank of Canada is out today with a key interest rate decision. A slim majority in the market are looking for a 50 bp cut to bring the rate to 3.00%. With the market undecided on what Carney and company at the BOC will do, we would expect that today's decision. One problem remains conflicting pressures on CAD.
