USD/JPY

EUR/USD Technical Special − USD recovering against the other majors by The USD/JPY 15 mins chart shows a big spike of over 100 pips after the release of Citi bank group data. Bullish momentum is not likely to end any time soon. The pair is fluctuaiting above 103.00 level. Immeidate resistance is seen at 103.37 while support is seen at 102.72.

The USD/JPY remains steady at 102,43, hovering near a 1−mth high of 102,95. The pair likely drawing some support from dollar−buying triggered by this week's spike in 10−yr Treasury yields, says a trader. The fact that this week's US bank earnings have not contained any major negative surprises has actuate some short−covering

DATA SNAP: German March PPI +0.7% On Mo, +4.2% On Yr (Dow Jones)

German producer prices rose faster than expected in March, driven by a robust rise in energy prices, data from the Federal Statistics Office showed Friday. The producer price index, which measures prices at the factory gate, rose 0.7% on the month and 4.2% on the year, the statistics office, or Destatis said.
