First and strong resistance for the Cable today is 1.9890. Next is the top from 28 December at 1.2010, followed by 2.0110, where the 50 day crawling middle line passes. In downward direction support is expected at 1.9680, which is 37.8% correction of the climb 1.9340 − 1.9885.

US economic indicators - GDP growth in Q4 could have slowed down to about 1% qoq by BHF−Bank
Despite transportation orders having risen by 1.5% mom, total durable goods orders decreased by 0.1% mom in November. Due to the strength in aircraft orders, which jumped by a further 62% mom, we expect durable goods orders to have risen by about 1.5% mom in December.

DATA SNAP: Euro−Zone Adj Curr Acct Surplus Falls In Nov (Dow Jones)
The euro zone's seasonally adjusted current account surplus fell in November, data from the European Central Bank showed Tuesday. The current account surplus for the 13 countries that used the euro in November totaled EUR0.7 billion.
