DATA SNAP: UK December Mfg PMI 52.9 Vs 54.3 In Nov − Sources (Dow Jones)
The purchasing managers index for the U.K.'s manufacturing sector fell to 52.9 in December from 54.3 in November, market sources said Wednesday. The data indicate that activity in the sector continued to expand, but at a weaker pace than the previous month. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires last week had forecast the PMI would fall to 53.8.
