The euro zone's harmonised index of consumer prices rose a final 2.6 pct year−on−year in October, unchanged from a provisional estimate, EU statistics office Eurostat said.

DATA SNAP: UK October Retail Sales Hits 9−Month Low (Dow Jones)
The volume of U.K. retail sales hit a nine−month low in October, driven by poor sales of food and clothing, the Office for National Statistics said Thursday. Retail sales volumes fell 0.1% on the month but rose 4.4% on the year, broadly in line with economists forecasts of a 0.2% monthly fall and a 4.6% yearly increase.
