Violation above $1.3730 and more importantly $1.3775 has ended what became nothing more than a three-wave structure to the downside and from here a fresh high looks probable. Above $1.3850 a 50 percent extension point and the high in a respected 22-day price channel sets focus on $1.3910.

Friday Notes - Weathering the storm by HVB Group

The UniCredit-Reuters tool points to a 0.7% decline m-om in industrial production. After the volatile preceding months, which were influenced – in some cases strongly – by problems with the seasonal and calendar adjustment, the annualized rate is settling at roughly 4%. The still high order cushion argues against a further cooling of the production dynamic in the coming months.
