Weekly Forex Market Commentary - The dollar rallied higher last week by Global Forex Trading Ltd.

One week after recovering from a four-week low of 1.3463, the euro/dollar traded sideways and got stuck in an inside range. The pair remains at a crossroads here: in the short term, there is a head-and-shoulders formation targeting 1.3375; in the medium term there are hopes for a further upmove to the target of a bullish flag in the 1.3800 area.

UK April final M4 money supply up 1.3 pct on month, up 13.3 pct yr-on-yr - BoE (AFX News)

The UK's broad measure of money supply continued to grow at a strong pace during April, figures from the Bank of England confirmed today. In its second release of the money supply during the month, the central bank said its preferred M4 measure rose by a monthly 1.3 pct, and by 13.3 pct year-on-year.
