The Cable continues to trade between the resistance 1.9872, which is a double top from 15th and 16th May 2007 and the support around 1.9703. The strong upwards impulse pushed the currency pair from the daily level at 1.9703 to the key support 1.9771.

After going up by 2.3% mom in February, durable goods orders rose by 3.7% mom in March due to robust aircraft orders and a rebound in non-defense capital goods orders ex-aircraft.

U.K. industrial output remained steady at a high level in May, while manufacturers raised prices by the strongest margin in 12 years, the Confederation of British Industry said Thursday. The industrial output balance was +18 in May, unchanged from the previous month, it said.
