Euro Zone Industrial Orders increase at an unexpected extent in March (FXstreet.com)
European economy is growing at a robust pace, if we look at the latest Industrial New Orders figures released by Eurostat, which posted sharply higher than expected rises in March. Industrial new orders have increased by 2.7% in March from February and 8.0% from March 2006, sharply higher than the market’s expectations of a 1.0% monthly rise and a 5.9% increase on the year.

FOCUS BoE rate-setters 'straining on the leash' to raise rates again (AFX News)
A hawkish set of minutes to the last rate-setting meeting of the Bank of England has reinforced expectations that another rate hike will be pushed through in the next couple of months. The minutes to the May 9-10 meeting showed that the nine-member Monetary Policy Committee voted unanimously to raise its key repo rate a quarter point.
