Great excitement as we rally to a new all-time high at 160.87 yet it is one of a surprisingly few Yen crosses higher than we were in February. We will continue to proceed very cautiously as we had not expected it to move this high so soon after March's corrective drop.

It's expected that the European Central Bank will keep rates on hold at its actual 3.75%. On the post meeting press conference J.C. Trichet will give hints on the next movement of the Bank, probably pointing to a possible rate hike in the upcoming months.

Euro zone Q4 GDP up 0.9 pct from Q3, unchanged vs previous estimate (AFX News)
Euro zone GDP grew 0.9 pct in the fourth quarter of 2006 from the third quarter, and was up 3.3 pct year-on-year, EU statistics office Eurostat said. The figures are unchanged from Eurostat's previous estimates, published on March 6.

The U.K.'s global goods trade deficit widened in February as imports of aircraft, chemicals, cars and other consumer goods increased, the Office for National Statistics said Thursday.
