The Week Ahead - Retail Sales, Current Account, Import Prices, CPI, and Industrial Production by BBVA Bancomer
Leading manufacturing indicators suggested that production rebounded in February after contracting in the previous month. Manufacturing ISM increased to 54.3 in February from a contracting level of 49.3 in January. We expect total industrial production to increase by 0.2% in February after declining 0.5% in the previous month.

DATA SNAP:CPI Up On Food, Energy; Suggests Fed Status Quo (Dow Jones)
U.S. consumer prices rose last month on higher food and energy prices while underlying inflation crept up modestly, suggesting that inflation still remains an upside risk. The data support expectations that the Federal Reserve will hold official interest rates steady when it meets next week and also maintain its tightening bias.
