Daily technical research - TODAY'S FOCUS: EURUSD & GBPUSD by FX Instructor

EURUSD-EUR dipped below 1.3100 levels on Friday testing a low of 1.3072 to close the week on the downside at 1.3114.The pair has not only tested 1.3080/52 zone, representing its Feb 22'07 for the fourth time (two in Feb & two in Mar) on Friday but formed an evening star candle pattern (reversal signal) on the daily chart suggesting further downside pressure could be seen. In addition, the pairs continued inability to push through 1.3171/89 levels, its .618 Ret (1.2867-1.3363)/Feb 20'07 high also supports the above scenario.

Friday Notes - Correction, not a trend reversal by HVB Group

The growth expectations of financial analysts have staged a sizeable recovery recently.
