Daily technical research - TODAY'S FOCUS: EURUSD & GBPUSD by FX Instructor
EURUSD-EUR dipped below 1.3100 levels on Friday testing a low of 1.3072 to close the week on the downside at 1.3114.The pair has not only tested 1.3080/52 zone, representing its Feb 22'07 for the fourth time (two in Feb & two in Mar) on Friday but formed an evening star candle pattern (reversal signal) on the daily chart suggesting further downside pressure could be seen. In addition, the pairs continued inability to push through 1.3171/89 levels, its .618 Ret (1.2867-1.3363)/Feb 20'07 high also supports the above scenario.

European Market Update - UK PPI Surprise to the Upside by Trade The News
Core PPI Output reached its highest level since October of 2004 in the UK as raw material prices increased. While most of the numbers resulted in an upside surprise, there were downward revisions to the back month PPI input numbers.
