The Week Ahead

Chirstmas Break by FXstreet.com

With the Christmas break upon us, very little economic action is expected for the next week. Anyway, there are some events worth monitoring, so let's review them all.

On Wednesday, the US takes the lead with the Richmond Fed manufacturing index release. That is the only remarkable event for the day anyway.

On Thursday, the day starts with Housing numbers from Japan, followed by Durable Goods orders numbers from the US and the Consumer Confidence data to wrap−up the day.

And finally, on Friday, Japan publishes both jobless data plus CPI figures, then UK comes in with nationwide housing prices, and the US wraps the week up with 2 big events like the Chicago PMI and the New Home Sales data, finishing the week in a volatile fashion.
