The Week Ahead

Fed's calling at your door! by FXstreet.com

As the month, quarter and first half of this 2007 come to an end, the week is reserving some of its best economic releases to shake it up a little bit.

On Monday, there are no major economic releases scheduled.

On Tuesday, German regions CPI is in spotlight in Europe. The US contributes with new Home Sales and Consumer Confidence figures.

On Wednesday, the party begins. US Durable Goods orders are likely to shake the markets up nicely as they did in the previous month.

On Thursday, the party moves on. Unemployment figures from Germany to start the day, annualized US GDP figures to continue with good rythm and FOMC interest rate decision to wrap-up one of the busiest days (economically speaking) of the week.

And finally, on Friday, it's fireworks time! Liquidity figures for UK, battery of economic data for the Euro-Zone including a CPI estiamte and ... Personal Income & Spending figures from the US, preceeding Chicago PMI and University of Michigan survey to leave traders at the mercy of the volatility.
