The Week Ahead

It's Germany leading the way by FXstreet.com

A quiet week ahead in terms of economic activity, with the most important releases coming out of Germany. Let's take a look at them.

On Monday, there are no major economic events scheduled.

On Tuesday, the ZEW survey in Germany is the major event of the day, with US's Housing data likely to catch investors' attention as well.

On Wednesday, it's time for the Bank of Japan to release the minutes of the last 2 meetings. In the UK, the Bank of England is also issuing the minutes for the last meeting, along with liquidity data. Nothing relevant comes out from the States that day.

On Thursday, Euro-Zone PMi's and US's Philly Fed and Leading Indicators will be the names of the game.

And finally, on Friday, the IFO business climate survey out of Germany is likely to add some volatility to the markets.
