The Week Ahead

US Inflation data in spotlight by FXstreet.com

After a week full of Central Banks interventions, it is time to get back to the core of economic fundamentals, with the USleading the way again. CPI data on Friday is the top of a big iceberg, completed with PPI data on Thirsday and Retail Sales figures on Tuesday. It definitely will be a key week for the market after a week where CB's took the leadership.

The Euro-zone has some data to highlight, especially on Tuesday, with the release of the German ZEW survey, leading the way in a week where Euro-zone CPI will be released on Thursday. Industrial Production coming out on Tuesday is also an event to highlight.

The UK will see housing data on Tuesday, with Trade Balance figures and the Leading Indicators index being released in the same day. Monday sees the PPi release, and Wednesday is time for unemployment figures, in a very busy week in the big island as well.

FInally, Japan starts the week with full GDP figures, and only on friday it will show the neck again, with Leading Indicators data.
