The Week Ahead

No NFP data on Friday by FXstreet.com

It does not happen very often, but we won't have the full unemployment report from the US coming out on the first Friday of the month this time. But there is plenty of economic data to digest throughout the week in any case.

In the US, personal income and personal spending figures on Thursday top the agenda. On that very same day we will get the ISM manufacturing. Tuesday and Wednesday will also be important days in the states, with the former releasing Durable Goods data and the latter seeing the Chicago PMI out and the annualized GDP.

In Europe, there is also plenty of data coming out the next week. Germany's 2-day battery of CPI data is one of the relevant events in old Europe. However, the key day is Wednesday, where the Euro-zone will release CPI estimates, business confidence and unemployment figures along with a press conference by ECB President Trichet.

UK has on Wednesday its key day, with housing prices coming out, but Thursday will also be important with PMI data.

Lastly, Japan also busy on Wednesday with the industrial production, and inflation data is coming out on Friday, so key event happening that day. BoJ minutes are expected the first day of the week.
