A relatively calm week ahead (volatility wise) by FXstreet.com
There isn't much of activity in the economic front next week, at leat not much volatility should come from the data we'll have next week, and the big news will mainly come from Europe and not from the US, although the latter will wrap-up the week with the always important Durable Goods Orders and New Home Sales data on Friday. Other data to watch in the States inclulde Crude Oil stocks on Wednesday and Exisitng home sales on Thursday.
As said, main focus in Europe once again, and especially in UK. Housing prices are due out in the wee wee hours of Monday. But main relevance will be seen on Wednesday, when the Bank of England will release the minutes for their last meeting and that will go along with the GDP preliminary figures. Lastly, on Tuesday, CBI trends will be released.
In the old Europe, Germany plays an active role this week. The IFO survey is released on Thursday, topping the agenda in the Eurozone. On Friday, Gfk consumer confidence survey will be something to watch., along with Monday's CPI data.
