Last week market the first time volaitlity turned the conner and stopped decending and and daily moves were greater than the last 100 day average. Volatility tipicaly increases at pivot points and break−outs. At this point because we have struck and reversed of the decending trend−line I would expect the probability of another thrust lower in the coming days.

USD/JPY: Prices will hold above its low at 88.23 today and probably all week
Mizuho Corporate Bank − A massive ‘hammer' candle yesterday suggests prices will hold above its low at 88.23 today and probably all week. This morning the corrective bounce has been capped by the 9−day moving average at 90.39 and we may hover around here for much of today. Rallies towards 91.50 are seen as medium term selling opportunities for an eventual test of January's low at 87.10.
Euro Short Term Bearish Target at 1.4450 by DailyFX
The US dollar rally continues and evidence continues to mount that the recent US dollar low is significant. A short term EURUSD bearish target is 1.4450.
GBP USD is in an downtrend directed by 1H exponential moving averages by Mataf.net
GBP USD is in a consolidation after the last bearish movement. The volatility is low. Bollinger bands are flat. ForexTrend 1H, 4H (Mataf Trend Indicator) is in a bearish configuration.

EMU economic indicators - EMU industrial confidence and economic sentiment (September): up by BHF−Bank

As the recession ended and production keeps rising, the number of job losses has declined appreciably. The ongoing downward trend in initial jobless claims corroborates that, in particular, the pace of layoffs is slowing down.
