KBC Bank − New recovery high above channel off 1.3832 (see graph), above the inverted channel top off June low (1.4670 today) and trying to extend above 1.4719 (Dec 18 2008 high + neckline of massive daily Double Bottom).
Support area at 1.4670/ .4658 (daily envelope bottom + see above/ daily Short Term Moving Average↑), with next levels at 1.4621 (break−up hourly): ideal area to stay above to keep current short term mood on €..

US economic indicators - Housing starts (August): continuing to stabilise by BHF−Bank
Despite the modest upward trend in the NAHB index, housing starts fell by 1% mom in July. However, singlefamily starts continued to rise for the fifth consecutive month. We predict that housing starts will have gone up by 3.3% to at least 600k in August. Building permits, which had also fallen back in July, are likely to have increased too, from 560k to 580k.

US: Retail Sales Jumped Higher in August by Wells Fargo Investments, LLC
Retailers turned in a surprisingly strong month in August; sales were up 2.7 percent. Even excluding the cash−for−clunkers−fueled results at auto dealers, sales rose 1.1 percent, the best gain since February.
