Preparing to re−test this year's high (1.4448)
FXstreet.com Independent Analyst Team − Preparing to re−test this year's high (1.4448). The Euro is no longer overbought and momentum is bullish, and could increase on a daily close above 1.4350.
Strategy: Attempt longs at 1.4345; stop below 1.4170. Short term target 1.4375, then 1.4445

The Pound has gained upside momentum against the Dollar, and supported by possitive stock markets and Gold prices breaking above $100.00, the Pound has risen from levels below 1.6350 to hit 1.6415
Forex: USD/JPY: Dollar dips lower; breaks below 92.70 by FXstreet.com
The Dollar is weakening moments ahead of the European session opening and the USD/JPY falls further away from Monday's high at 93.30, as the pair broke below 92.70 to reach session low at 92.53 so far

Friday Notes - UK, BoE: Repo rate on hold by UniCredit Group
The BoE should keep the repo rate unchanged this month, and introduce no changes to the outstanding APF. The August Inflation Report clearly indicated that market expectations (for a first rate hike in Q1 2010) were too aggressive, given that nominal demand remains very much subdued despite the ongoing QE program.
